The Snohomish School District has released the draft Pre-Disaster Mitigation Plan for public comment. The plan is intended to raise awareness and understanding of the potential impacts of natural hazard disasters affecting the district and to help the district deal with natural hazards in a pragmatic and cost-effective manner. Comments will be received until March 14. Comments may be submitted to Tom Laufmann, Snohomish School District, 1601 Avenue D, Snohomish WA 98290. Grants of surplus property
If you are another federal, state or local government entity, the district may grant any of the surplus property identified through this list (January 2017) provided the property be used for preschool through twelfth grade educational purposes. Please email Lori Hillier if you are interested in or wish to be notified of available surplus property.
Winter, and the inclement weather that often accompanies it, will be here before you know it.
This is an important message from the Snohomish School District for all district students, families and staff. We are aware that the forecast for late Thursday evening/early Friday morning is potentially calling for up to an inch of snow for our area. Throughout the week, we are continually monitoring the situation.
This year's annual Kids in the Kitchen/Junior Chef Competition event will be held Friday, May 19! District 4th - 6th grade students are invited to submit recipes for their favorite after-school snacks. The recipes, which must be submitted by Friday, March 17, do not have to be original.
