4th – 6th grade students from around the district recently faced off in the annual Kids in the Kitchen/Junior Chef Competition. Finalists prepared their favorite after-school snack creations for a panel of judges who selected the grand prize winners.
This summer, all kids 18 and under can enjoy free breakfast and lunch with Snohomish School District’s Kids' Café - no sign-up, no hassle, just great meals! Swing by your school library for stories and smiles, and keep an eye out for the Book Café rolling through neighborhoods with free books to spark summer reading fun. Come eat, read, and explore all summer long!
For students in 7th grade, the Tdap vaccine must be given at or after age 10 to be accepted for school entry. If your child is 10 years old and already received this booster, their immunizations are complete. The middle school nurse may need medical verification when this vaccine was given. If your child receives this booster anytime between now and the start of next school year, please bring the record to the school nurse. It is good to keep a copy of immunizations for your records.
Do you have a child who will be new to the Snohomish School District during the 2025–2026 school year? Or, have you recently moved to the area? Will your child be able to enroll in kindergarten or a preschool program next year? We can’t wait for you to join us!
Register now at the Snohomish elementary, middle, or high school your child will attend or visit www.sno.wednet.edu/enroll.
Winter Spirit Week is coming this December 16 - 20! Join in the fun, before we head out for Winter Break.
Human Growth and Development is taught each year during 5th and 6th grade and Sexual Health will be taught in 7th, 8th and 9th grade. Recorded presentation, slides and audio recording from the November 19 presentations are now available to view.
As winter weather nears, please familiarize yourself with the district's procedures for weather-related disruptions.
